I'm writing this as a warning to other parents about my terrible online shopping experience. We ordered glasses for our son, but he had trouble seeing with them. A doctor's visit confirmed the pupil distance (PD) was wrong. It turns out the glassesusa site does not prompt you to provide the PD number, and if you don’t know to provide it, they will just assume a value. For my son, this meant the value was wrong. The absolute worst part is that you will never be able to reach a human at glassesusa and have a real phone conversation, so plan on frustration if your glasses are not correct. This whole ordeal forced me to write a public review and engage with their support team to finally get a resolution.
Customer: I'm incredibly frustrated. My son's glasses are unwearable because you used an assumed PD value. Your website never prompted for it, and now he can't see properly. Your email support is also impossibly slow.
