19 Days, No Glasses! My Express Shipping Horror Story 😤
Let me tell you about my terrible online shopping experience, hoping it serves as a cautionary tale for anyone considering ordering from this website. I placed an order for glasses on March 30th and even paid for express 3-5 day shipping because my old glasses were broken. I desperately needed them. Yet, Day 5 rolled around, and they were still in production. Day 10, still in production. By Day 11, I was so frustrated that I had to call customer service to ask for a shipping refund. They seemed to handle this request all the time, which honestly, just made it worse. I got my $10 back for shipping, but my glasses were STILL 6 days out on delivery. It’s now Day 19, and I still have no glasses! This entire ordeal has been absolutely infuriating, which is why I felt compelled to leave this review and engage in a conversation with their customer service.
Customer: I ordered glasses nearly three weeks ago, paid for express shipping, and they still haven't arrived. My old glasses are broken, I need these! CS Rep: I understand your frustration, and I sincerely apologize for the significant delay with your order. Let me pull up your details immediately. I see you paid for express shipping, and your order is still showing as "in production." We have already processed a refund for your express shipping fee, correct? Customer: Yes, I got the shipping refund, but that doesn't help me see! I paid for 3-5 day shipping and it's been 19 days. When am I actually going to get my glasses? This is ridiculous. CS Rep: I completely understand your urgency. It appears there was an unexpected delay in the production phase for your specific lenses. We are pushing our fulfillment team to prioritize this order. The current estimated delivery is still showing as within the next six days from now. Customer: Six more days? After 19 already? This is a terrible company. Why even offer express shipping if you can't deliver on it? CS Rep: I hear your concern, and I assure you we are working to get your order to you as quickly as possible. As a further apology for this extended wait, would you be open to a discount on a future purchase once your current order is delivered?
